As the multimedia intern at Circle of Blue, I was the field producer and assistant project manager for Catalyst:, a virtual town hall series connecting California's water crisis to the rest of the world.
While living in the town of San Pablo de Amali in the Bolivar Province of Ecuador, I completed a preliminary report on the water resources available in the community, as well as created a short film about the community's fight against a hydroelectric company for water rights.
As the co-founder and co-director of Real Food at NU, I have helped to build a movement towards a just and sustainable food system at Northwestern. We successfully campaigned for Northwestern to become the 35th Real Food Challenge Campus Commitment signatory in June 2015, pledging Northwestern to source 20% "real" food by 2020.
While at Circle of Blue, I covered domestic water policy, including a series on the Line 5 Pipeline in Michigan and LA's stormwater policy. I also produced briefs about water policy in Lima.
At the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics at Northwestern University, I work as the communications associate. One of my projects is writing highlights about research taking place at the center.
As CNT's communication intern, I spearheaded the RainReady Solutions in Action video series, highlighting how innovators in the Chicagoland area are responding to the stormwater management crisis.
